Right now, Aussie families are facing some really big challenges, and many find themselves struggling to make ends meet. For some, this will mean Christmas won't be a time to celebrate.

This Christmas, give the gift of hope. With just a $40 donation, you have an opportunity to help those who need it most. With Christmas Box, 100% of donations goes to not only feeding a family but will also provide much-needed hope. Only together, can we bring hope to those in need all across Australia. We can't do it alone.

Taryn's Story

"I was just worried about how we were going to pay for Christmas. I wanted to make sure that the four children each had presents. Receiving the Christmas Box made me feel very happy and loved, and that someone cared for me and my children”

Taryn, Christmas Box recipient

“The Soup Van volunteers pass on our thanks for the Christmas Boxes we received and distributed on the soup van runs. We see a few numbers of people who are isolated. It is lovely to break the ice with a beautifully presented box of goodies and other items we distributed, then we can have a chat and catch up. Everyone was delighted and very appreciative to receive the hampers, just to know someone cares enough to put together items they can use, is very special.”

Tracey, Vinnies Soup Van - St Vincent de Paul Society

“Christmas Boxes has been a huge part of our end of year celebrations for Community Kitchen. The look on the people’s faces, and the gratitude that people had as they received boxes were amazing. Some people were refugees, single parents, and grandparents; the diversity of recipients were widespread. The impact goes beyond what we can imagine for families. This really does bring HOPE to families, individuals and children.”

Merapi, Manager - LIFE Community Kitchens
